Cyberattack Spoils Food Across French Supermarkets

Hackers remotely raised fridge temps to 50°C in hundreds of French stores (Intermarché, Monoprix, Carrefour), forcing tons of food to be discarded.

The manufacturer, Danfoss, claims the units were running outdated firmware.
